My very old friend Ed Fall managed to secure a couple of tickets for he and I to see Chelsea play Fenerbahce at Stamford Bridge, in the second leg of a Champions' League quarter final.
It was a full house and a fantastic atmosphere. Chelsea (with a starting XI of Terry, Cudicini, Lampard, A Cole, Ballack, Makelele, Essien, Carvahlo, Kalou, J Cole and Drogba) won 2-0 on the night, with goals to Ballack and Lampard, progressing to a semi final against Liverpool.
